Since 2004, The U.S. Department of State has honored TIP Report Heroes from around the world. In 2018, the Communications Team wanted to do a quick-turn video production of the awards ceremony that included the Secretary of State and other dignitaries, as well as a day around Washington, DC, with the Heroes who represented 10 countries.

Sunshine Media Network was hired for a one-man-band video production because of security, State Department staff expertise already on the project, and budget constraints.

Sunshine Media Network created two separate videos for social media and media release, worked with translation experts to translate the content into 10 languages, and went through 64 security approvals around the world. Our video, of one particular Hero’s experience, was also used in an ambassador event to build goodwill between the United States and another nation.
